The Grand Opening of a Hope for Columbus Partnership Initiative

Announcing the launching of an Learning Extension Center(LEC)

Hope for Columbus/Hope for America, in collaboration with several other local organizations, is providing academic support for school-age students in virtual online classes during the Pandemic of 2020/2021. This LEC looks to bring hope to children and parents on the Eastside of Columbus Ohio during these uncertain times.

The Eastside LEC came into fruition as Noe connected with the Lindsay Family, of Lindsay Honda, in our city, about using one of their vacant building's to house one of the Learning Extension Center's on the Eastside. The Eastside LEC came into existence a few weeks later.....

This collaboration includes nonprofit organizations; Men of Courage, Derrick Lewis along with LifeWise Academy, Joel Penton and Steve Clifton, Oasis of Love, Alfred Tagoe, all at Lindsay Honda, with Bert Lindsay and Ashleigh Lindsay-Behnke in Columbus Ohio, at 5805 Scarborough Blvd Columbus Ohio.

The Eastside LEC was a vision initially presented by a member of the school Board after the Public schools were forced to go to virtual online classrooms because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Board member reached out to Nonprofits and Churches to host learning extension centers in their facilities with Wifi capabilities and social distance learning for the online child's learning convenience during the closing of the schools during this pandemic.

The Eastside LEC is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 - 3:30, at 5805 Scarborough Blvd. Eastsidelec.org

Noe's contribution to this initiative has been invaluable in both its organizational and operational founding, as she serves on the leadership team in the collaboration and as volunteer support on the LEC staff.

As this is a non-profit endeavor that is fully funded by the collaborative organizations, please pray and consider financially supporting Noe with either a one-time donation or a monthly donation in this endeavor, as she gives her time and talents to this vital Hope for Columbus Outreach.
